Student Finance Guide

pose1 Student Finance GuideThey say school days are the best days of your life. But in a society that plans to see one in two young people head off for university by 2010, this cliché has exchanged the innocence of school days for the thrill of university nights.

University life is now a culture within itself. It is about people as much as what you actually learn there. A time to meet new, potentially lifelong friends, live a carefree life for a few years and, ultimately enhance your career prospects does, however, come at a price.

There is no escaping the rising cost of university living. With the tuition fee structure now changed for all 2006 Freshers onwards, experts are predicting the general cost of student living to increase by £4,912 to £33,512 expenditure during a three year course.

University is undoubtedly an expensive decision. But don’t panic, help is at hand. So put down those brown paper bags, and bury your head in the most valuable literature you’ll study all year.
