New Black Card is business travelers' tool
November 28, 2007
A new credit card has been launched, offering a priority pass into over 500 lounges in international airports around the world.
The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) is aiming to lure customers into registering for the so-called ‘Black Card’ with the offer of a three month complimentary trial.
Another benefit which looks set to attract those who travel overseas frequently is the inclusion of worldwide travel insurance "for all the family".
Also a 24 hour multi-lingual assistance service is provided, which claims to make special arrangements on behalf of the cardholder, such as travel plans or theatre tickets.
Director of personal cards at RBS, Dennis Jones, commented: "We are so confident that the service provided to RBS Black cardholders is amongst the best offered by any premium card provider that we have decided to offer new customers the chance to experience these quality services free of charge for three months."
The card has a minimum credit limit of £15,000.

For once the offer looks like it lives up to the hype. Trawled through the small print, and no obvious catches. On top of the travel insurance, there is a well thought out package of home emergency and motor breakdown cover. This helps maintain your no claims bonus on home insurance and no penalty excess.
