It does seem frightening that people would actually have to pay their mortgage payment using a credit card.  I suppose it&#039;s only what has being going on for a long time in the UK.  If you spend loads of money on your credit card on it doesn&#039;t really matter whether the card was used to pay your mortgage or clothes/eating out etc.  If continued it will end in financial disaster.

Clearly there is a difference in the severity of an individuals financial situation if they have cut back on spending and still have to pay the mortgage in this way, perhaps because of sickness or redundancy.  As ever with financial emergencies, the sooner advice is sought the better.
