New Nationwide deal offers enhanced home insurance cover
July 28, 2006
Nationwide has launched a new home insurance deal which gives enhanced cover as standard.
The building society claims that customers going for this deal could save over a £100 by taking up the offer.
“Our new home insurance provides better cover as standard and we are so confident with this that we are offering a one month money-back guarantee if customers are not satisfied,” said Nationwide’s insurance director, Robin Bailey.
He reasoned that the change came about to reflect the “changing needs of property owners”, from the prevalence in portable music players to an increase in gardening equipment.
As part of the increased cover, a one month money-back guarantee, unlimited buildings cover for standard properties and cover for students at university are being offered.
Up to £1,000 cover for contents in the garden is also being offered as part of the changes which reflect the “changing needs” of households.
