We were hit by a driver insured with NU. It appeared to us as though NU intentionally made their customer service poor in order to make it difficult to claim. In some cases this must make people give up. They did ultimatly pay out but I had to threaten to contact the FSA. For a simple open and shut case, it was appauling. They appear to go to greater lengths than any other organisation ever thought possible to frustrate and cock-up the simple. Take away their telephones and computers, they should not be allowed anything more than crayons and paper in a suppervised soft-play area.
