Skipton launches travel insurance and money offers

Those looking to jet away to the sun this year have been offered two new products by the Skipton Building Society to cover both the insurance they need for their travel as well as the money.

The company offers insurance providing single or multi-trip cover with a free legal helpline and pre-travel advice.

Travel cover with Skipton offers up to £10 million of cover for medical treatment and up to £25,000 worth of personal accident cover.

The society’s travel money package has zero per cent commission, exclusive of sterling cheques, free delivery and free handling on all orders over £400.

Amounts available range from £50 to £2,500 and delivery will be made direct to the customer’s home via Royal Mail special delivery.

Steve Aldous, general manager at Skipton, said: “Many of us live for our holidays and so it’s nice to know you’re getting as much value for your hard-earned cash as possible.

Skipton’s travel money and insurance packages are both available either over the phone or online.
