As you widely advertised the Oxfam hahdbag site i feel that the least you could do was make sure it was up and running

I did manage to enter the site but thats about it, wouldn’t let me view any handbags what a farce! and now unable to get on as its too busy what a waste of time.

I have seen your ad in Woman or Womans Own and have tried all day to enter the site without any luck. I dont know whether this is just an advertising campaign for Oxfam but I am really angry that I have wasted my time.

The Oxfam promotion had nothing to do with The Thrifty Scot!

We only reported that the event was taking place.

How very frustrating - I tried all day to get onto the site after being bombarded with adverts about the handbag sale. It was, and still is unavailable. Come on Oxfam, get your act together before you advertise another event!!

Having seen your ad for the handbag sale in various magazines I tried to enter the site at 12.30pm today - without luck. I tried off and on again at various times throughout the day and at 8pm am still trying. I havent’ been able to enter the site at all. What a let down. Think Ill go and have a large glass of wine now as a consolation prize as it doesn’t look at though the OXFAM HANDBAG BONANZA is going to happen today, Should I try again tomorrow I ask myself or will that be a waste of my time too.

this has been advertised for weeks, you would think they would have made sure the website could cope with a large amount of people logging on, useless

Oxfam - If this is indicative of their organisational ability one wonders how effective the distribution of aid is in the countries where they are working.

The expression “couldnt orgainse a p*** up in a brewery” comes to mind.

They got terrific ad coverage for this event and yet they found the level of interest “unprecedented” - oh dear - how very amateurish

Well day 2 of you handbag bonanza and still I can not get on your site to view your bags, a complete waste of money advertising it I wonder what that money could have been spent on, a poor do Oxfam.

Third day running and still can’t get onto the website for the handbag bonanza. Wasted most of the weekend trying witout any sucess, a poor show from Oxfam!

Tried 12 times to get on this website over the weekend, total waste of time. Next time be more prepared for the demand. Surely Oxfam could do better.

Got something to say?
