Use a cashback site when you buy online
February 10, 2009
If you already buy things online, it’s definitely worth taking a look at a cashback site.
For example, Cashback Shopper pays you £5 when you join & a further £5 per referral, if you get friends to join.
They offer a percentage of the amount you spend back to you in cash, or in the case of car/house insurance, a fixed amount, sometimes around £30-40.
As long as you use it to only buy things that you were going to buy anyway, it’s actually free money you’re earning!
They also list discount voucher codes & show any new offers as they come out. I’d always suggest using a comparison site to get the best price, but then clear the cookies from your browser & use a cashback site to make the purchase….then you know you’re getting the best price AND cashback too!

this is true about cash back sites and a worthy visit, also check out savingmoneyonline.co.uk for advice on all money related matters
Cashback sites are definitely a good way to save money on your online purchases and a lot more people need to be made aware of them and the savings they can make.
But a little known fact about cashback sites is that you can make extra money through them, either by signing up to newsletters or participating in paid searches, otherwise known as daily clicks. Although you won’t make a fortune doing these, in these times every penny helps.
